Illuminance levels on the walls
Radiance simulation with generic luminaires or .ldt files (eulumdat)
DIAL+Artificial is used to calculate the illuminance levels due to electric lighting on different walls of the room. The simulation is performed with the RADIANCE calculation engine .
It is possible to use existing luminaires by importing the corresponding eulumdat files (.ldt) from the manufacturers websites.
The interface also allows to quickly describe generic luminaires (light direction, type of the source, power, ..., etc.) which is very useful in the early design stage.
